| i tell you what, when you have a digital camera there isnt a better investment that you can make. those batteries never die. and when they do you just recharge them. lol | |

| My camera has a rechargable inside it and I just plug it in and it only takes about 30 minutes to fully charge! | |

| ohh, i've never seen them like that. im using external lithium batteries =P
so im kinda pondering on a box design for my truck. im thinking of going with a single sub. and i want it to sound really good. i can go with a single 15" but thats kinda drifting away from the SQ. so im thinking a single, or two 12"s. i have enough room for a good sized box behind the seat. for a truck anyways. im sure i could make a decent 3 cub box to fit back there. give two 12"s 1.5 cubic feet per sub. which would be sealed. which would come out good. or i could go with a single sub @ 3 cf. which would probably not be as loud but it would most likely sound better! if i made a single sub i could make it shoot through the seat in the middle n put plexi over it. and light it up or something. but that would be kinda new school in a old truck! lol. i dont think i have enough room to make them down fire unless i went with a few 10"s. i could just make the fire fowards like traditionally. any idea's?

| I have always like the sound of two 12 set up right and I like the new school mixed with old school! I love those designs | |

| lift kit wise, im going to put a 3" lift on it. and now that i've gotten to look at pictures i dont really think 33"s are going to be big enough. so im going to look into 35"s but im not going any bigger then that. this is the same truck i have with no lift kit and 33" all terains. altho mud tires are wider and a lil beefier.. i think w/ the 3 inch lift it should clear the wells. | |

| well i finally de-buged the fuel gauge problem. i just ran a new wire from the dash to the gauge.. the problem with it was it has 1 gauge. a switch and 2 tanks, which meansss 2 fuel senders. the switch activated the tank changing valve, as well as what sender was connected to the gauge. well i checked everything, bypassed the switch and still nothing. the right tank i dont use, only the left. so i just connected the driverside tank and now im happy. i also got my temp gauge working. after 30 years the wires are getting old and stiff and its really common for things like this to happen. but no biggy. | |

| it was giving me a pain in the @$$ time yesterday. wasnt hitting on a cylinder. well with all brand new wires and plugs. i know i was getting power to the plugs. and just rebuild the Q-et carb. so i know i had fuel. and its got compression. so i figured the plug fouled out. when the truck warms up it starts to haze a little smoke out of the left side tail piope. not alot.. but just a lil. well after a month of running it, the plug got oil on it and fouled it. so either my valve seals are seapin' or i need new rings in that cylinder. i might pull the engine out when i get the jeep and rebuild the engine. the trans and the 12 bolt differential will run till the gears rust out of them unless i dont oil em or if i dont dog on them too bad ;-) | |

| they dont call me mechanic for nothin! hahaha.
nah im sure the engine has over 200 thousand miles on it so its not uncommon for rings to start to seap. after all how manny times around the world is 200 thousand miles? haha.

| its runnin' like a champ now. rev'd it up a lil dumped the clutch and shot dirt all over. it doesnt even hesitate turning over the 31's. i doubt its gonna even notice when i buy the 35's. ..nah it will, just not much. that truck is geared so low. i think its running a 4.10 on the axle and ontop of that the trans geared way low. | |
