PostSubject: Learning Photography   Sun Jul 12, 2009 3:31 am

In this thread I hope to help anyone that wants to learn more about Photography.
It will also show what I have learn on my voyage to learn as much as I can.

When I research or buy stuff I will post reviews and information. Hope it can help others that are interested.

To start I will post some of the Books that I have gotten to learn the basic with my personnel opinion.

Book Recommendations:
1. Digital SLR Cameras & Photography for Dummies
I will not recommend any of the dummies books after the last three I have bought. Not a bad start but I think there are many books alot better then these!

2. The Complete Idiot's Guide to Photography Essentials
I love this book. I have read it twice cover to cover and some chapters 5 times or more. I look back at it often. Great Buy!

3. Magic Lantern Guides: Nikon D90 Multimedia Workshop
Get the hardcover that comes with 2 DVD. Outstanding read and the DVD's are even better than the book. Will show you almost everything you need to know.
They make these for almost ever camera out there! A must have for a beginner with a new camera!

4.The Digital Photography Book: Volume 1 BEST BOOK EVER! A MUST HAVE!!!!

5.The Digital Photography Book, Volume 2 Same as above A MUST HAVE!

6.Nikon D90 Digital Field Guide
Very good book. Tons of great info. Not a very fun read but great book to look back on for info!!!

Future Reads:

1. The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3
COMING SOON!

Please Help by adding to this list!!!
