I thought I had posted pics of my truck prior to this but I couldn't find it, maybe it was on Amped?
Anywho:
I figured I will post up a few pics to show what I did new for this year.
Here we go,
Overall shot of the dash showing the new chrome vents.
Driver's door showing the chrome bucket and the polished handle. Also notice
that I shaved off the door lock switch, it should be on the same panel as the chrome power window switches and mirror control.
Pass door got the same treatment, you can also see the new MTX 6.5 comps in the kick.
These two switches control the visor monitors and yellow strobes under the dash.
They are mounted where the parking brake release handle used to be, oh yeah, I pulled out the parking brake pedal too.
Close up of the new kick with the modified Orion grille, the MTX grilles were WAY too big!
This is the new little panel I made to mount the MTX crossovers for the new 4" and 6.5" up front.
The soundstream units had all of the wires coming out of the bottom, the MTX has the inputs coming from the top and the outputs from the bottom.
I decided to get a little creative and ran the wires Through the crossovers to make them look wireless at a glance. Up close you can see the loop of speaker wire.
