| do you have all that stuff already? or would you have to buy all the speakers and such.... I never thought that a wall was cool unless you are going to compete in sound competitions. I say if your not competing I would do something that is simpler or cooler looking! But if you want it go for it.... and post pics! | |

| You know in all of my car audio days I have built a few walls but I never built one for myself. It's always in the back of my mind to do one and I do have a few cool ideas for one so who knows...someday. | |

| I wouldn't just do a flat wall, I would make mine more 3 dimensional with some wicked angles. | |

| looks like you got to it b4 i did. and ill start doing research on walls. my half cousin had a wall with 6 JL W7 12"s in it ported. it all got stolen and he redid it. not sure what he has now tho. i want something in a 15". im just a bass hog and love the sound of a 15" when i want sound quality i turn the gain down! or off! lol. so im stuck between the RF T series and the kicker L series. i've heard the L series but never RF's T series. has anybody heard any of these? or should i just get two more kicker subs? | |

| You don't have to do high end speakers Joel, look into mid line stuff, never underestimate toe power of mid line woofers in large groups. | |

| yeah, thats true. i can get L5's for 150-180 and L7's for 180-220 $$ i was thinking two 15" or four 12"
and i think the jackhammer is way over rated. you can make more noise with a single 12" then that thing puts out. not to mention weight is a enemy here because I'm gonna be racing. I'm trying to figure out a removable wall! like something that looks sweet but something i can pull out. like two half's with a face plate making it look like one box.
what kinda mid line do you guys think would sound good? if its 15" i want them under 150-180 a pop. 12"s more along the line of 100$ or 125...

I don't think that's a true statement Joel.
How about 2 7500 or 8500 MTX's? You knew I was going to say that. Premier woofers are nice too but they don't make a 15". RF I like too.

| lol yeah i knowww. i was just using it as an example!! you could probably make more noise with a 9500 in a big ported box i'd personally rather go with two 15"s over 4 12"s because its less weight.. [quote="andymtx"] - michanic220 wrote:

| Or you could go really crazy. Put a single 15 dead center, and surround it with 10-20 6.5" subs. It'll definitely make people say "WTF??" I just like doing weird things just to make people look twice. Thinking about replacing my 10 with a pair of 6.5's | |

| Years ago I figured out how to install 96 8" woofers in an Astro van and still be able to see through the rear window. And they would all run off just 4 amps. | |

| That would've been cool. Definitely one of those systems that would make people look twice and say "WTF?". | |

| It's actually pretty amazing how some small sub setups sound. Elemental Designs makes a 7" sub that absolutely POUNDS. | |
